Easy Earth Day Craft for Kids
Appropriate for Children Ages 3 and up
Difficulty: Easy
Total Time: 30 minutes
Materials:
- Earth Day Crown Templates
- White Cardstock or blank paper (8 1/2 X 11)
- Scissors
- Glue/tape
- Markers/pencil crayons etc. for coloring. I used Ohuhu Alcohol Markers to color the crown in this tutorial

Instructions:
Step 1 – Print Your Crown Template
Print the Earth Day crown template on paper or cardstock.

Step 2 – Color Your Design.
This is where the creativity shines!
Encourage kids to use:
- Blues and greens for the Earth
- Bright colors for details
- Their own unique patterns and ideas
There’s no wrong way to design their crown!

Step 3 – Step 3: Cut Out the Pieces
Cut out the main piece and the side strips for the crwon.

Step 4 – Attach the side strips to the main piece
Each template has two extensions, so even adults can show off this hat!

5. Fit the hat to the person’s head and remove any excess paper.

6. Tape or Glue the Ends Together.

Once assembled, your Earth Day crown is ready to be worn. Now it’s time to celebrate! 🎉
